The National Archaeological Museum contains examples of art from prehistory to the nineteenth century, especially in the Iberian Peninsula, on 3 floors. Some of his most representative works are the Lady of Elche, The Lady of Baza, Great Lady Bidder Cerro de los Santos, the Lady of Ibiza, Balazote Bicha, the Treasure of the Bote de Zamora, the abacus Naperian The Tomb of Pozo Moro, an exhibition of Roman mosaics and the tomb of Doña Constanza de Castilla. In addition, the museum features a replica of the polychrome ceiling of the cave of Altamira in an underground room in the garden outside.
The National Archaeological Museum (MAN) of Spain is located in the "Palace of the Library and National Museums of Madrid, a XIX century building, the architect Francisco Jarecki Nacional2 shared with the Library and located in the Serrano street, near the Plaza Columbus.
